I heard it from my guide, (not officially announced nor are any details available) BUT, DVC members are supposed to be able to take advantage of the Magical express, AND, some form of the new dining plan will be offered to DVC members. Now, that being said, I have no details just that the word has leaked out among those in the know, and I don't want to get flamed if it this doesn't come to fruition, but that is the word on the street. I do hope that all of this comes about, with this and the AP perk, DVC is really looking better and better.....

Magical Express is official. The DVC resorts are not on the excluded list, and Member Services is confirming that DVC members staying on points qualify for Magical Express transportation and baggage handling.

There's no official word on a dining plan for DVC members. The big recent news has been that the formerly Florida resident-only Disney Dining Experience is now available to all AP holders for $50 -- but that's not specific to DVC members.

But it is possible that soon the DDE could be offered to non-FL residents at the regular price of $75. The availability of the DDE to AP holders could be to work the "kinks" out of the system, then they may offer it everyone, or perhaps offer it as a DVC perk.

It is also possible that a dining plan similar to MYW will be offered to DVC members, that may be why they are re-designating some of the restaurants to require 2 optons instead of 1, (Signature Class) so that the plan isn't a big loss leader for the packages.

We'll just have toi wait and see.

Oh let's hear it for the 35.00 meal plan!!! I can only hope! Course with my luck they will re-assign LeCellier to require two options!

I saw on another board that they have already done that. LeCellier & Brown Derby are now 2 options.

NO!!! That really stinks!! Forget about the meal plan for us then!!
