Supposed new dates- June 8 to September 25

Well, as much as I can appreciate there needing to be a major refurb, this means it'll be online for part of our trip and we have kids that have never seen PotC. They're such big fans of the movies and I know they'll love the ride because they won't really know what parts are broken.

It looks so great at Disneyland, I can't believe they've let this iconic ride slip the way that they have.

So, does anyone know on here if an opening date was ever announced for the African Marketplace expansion in DAK? We are going down 07May through 10May for a quick Mother's Day trip. DAK is my favorite park and this expansion to Harambe is something that I am excited about.

Also, I don't know if this was discussed here but apparently someone posted on the wdwmagic forums that a mountain was coming to the Pandora expansion in a few weeks. What we really need are some more overhead photos of DAK. I have not seen enough recent high res ones lately.

It actually makes me really happy to see they are doing all that stuff in preparation for the 60th. The park will look truly dazzling after all.

According to permits and insiders on wdwmagic. A new temporary theater will be going in between RnRc and ToT. This will most likely take over events held at the Premiere theater which is in the back lot area.the permits have no expiration date so they automatically expire after one year, so that means disney will be building this theater rather quickly.
