This may not be the right place to ask this question, but hopefully someone will have the answer. We are scheduled to check in to Beach Club, next Sunday on May 30th. I received an email today and there’s a “check-in now” button. Do I click this now or wait until we arrive next Sunday? Thanks in advance!
I think I understand your question correctly. If you have the MDE app for a smartphone you can check-in early before your day of arrival. Early check-in may offer you the opportunity to move directly to your room without having to stop at the front desk. You can still go to the front desk to ask questions, etc. but it allows you to avoid that step if you want to and IF the room is ready. I assume it will be ready on May30th because I think that's the reopening of the hotel.

You can do that at any time between now and when you go. In fact, Disney encourates you to do it early. It jsut finalizes the process and you can go straight to room when you get there.
Thank you! I’ll do it now 😀 I just didn’t want them thinking I was already there—a week early 😂

Anyone have any idea if Disney has any intention of providing proper housekeeping again or if they intend to keep charging full room rates with just towel service for which housekeeping pretty much gets tips as if they were still making beds....

I believe about a week ago I had posted they were hiring housekeepers, so hopefully *SOON!*

Sounds good... I was thinking that since people are ok paying current room rates they might decide not to bother increasing housekeeping services....

After Cast Member Layoffs, Disneyland Is Now Hiring

If any DIS members are looking or know of someone looking, this was updated today via the embedded link.

So Lyft will be able to drop off in the same spot as Minnie Vans? That's a big change, especially if it holds true at the other parks.

The area up front was always a cluster after park close so this will hopefully help that. Now this is the only park I've used uber from at park close but it was bad both times. Thr minnie van time from here wasn't as bad since it was before close but it was still crowded.

It'd actually be nice to have this at all parks just to make it easier and more well lit so you can actually see license plates and stuff. I know my car makes but my friend I often go with doesn't so if she's looking for a 4 door black car :sad2: And it was a bit dark in that area at dhs.
