I love HDDR and I eagerly await their return, I wonder how they can manage it with how tight Pioneer Hall is. Maybe/hopefully they have that all figured out.
Cast stays on stage, tables are backed away from the stage a bit. They'll just have to seat according to whatever capacity is set at that time.

I don't see how this changes anything for Disney. People won't be alone or with members of their household. I really think it's simpler for Disney to keep the mask requirement and instead start upping capacity and reducing distancing requirements.

I'm convinced next change is to go to 3ft distancing, followed closely by an increase in capacity. (maybe at the same time)

Edit: oh and they really probably could drop the ride cleaning, that was all theater anyway.

I think masking will stay but I can see the outdoor queues being reduced and outdoor entertainment returning (with masking), especially since CDC said that only 10% of infections have been from an outdoor situations and they basically gave the go ahead for outdoor concerts and sporting events saying everyone needs to be masked since they can't be socially distanced. Also, since children are not eligible for vaccinations yet, I don't see the mask mandate going away. I can also see indoor entertainment returning just because the vaccination numbers are there to support it. Basically, 7 out of 10 people have one or both shots.

The vaccination rate is decreasing but the numbers are really good if everyone gets their 2nd dose. As of yesterday's CDC numbers 30.8% of the population is fully vaccinated (28.9% plus the 1.9% who have the 2nd shot but are still in the 14 day period the CDC says is needed to reach being fully vaccinated.) Then you have another 40.6% (134.8 million people) that have received their 1st shot but not their 2nd. That adds up to 71.4% of the population that has at least some protection from the vaccine. The problem is that there is a huge decline in the rate of people getting their second dose. That is why they are now saying you do not need to go to the same place to get your second shot. The shift is happening to get vaccinated people back to normal and unvaccinated people to either get vaccinated or take the precautions to protect yourself.

Even if Disney announced that you can be maskless outside (which I don’t expect them to do anytime soon) there’s so much going inside, then outside, then inside at Disney that I’d probably just leave the stupid mask on all the time so I don’t have to fumble with it.
100% this. Here in the UK, you have to wear a mask inside public places, so it is easier to just keep it on then keep putting it on and taking it off again 😀 Imagine queuing for an Frozen Ever After outside, then waiting for people to put their masks on as they start to go to the indoor portion of the queue. Probably hold up the queues a lot :)

++ It's in the theme park's best interest to keep the rules simple and consistent

What would be considered a confirmed source? Any idea how long from call back to opening?
Aside from Disney themselves, I guess there isn't a confirmed source. But once the bigger sites pick it up (dis, DFB, WDWNT, etc) I think it's moves into the "very likely" territory.

Park pass availability just got increased! Seems to be in concert with the CDC announcement, but that's just speculation. Just moved things around and added a DHS reservation to our early June trip!

I am starting to get real nervous for our June trip! Just seems like they keep opening that calendar again and again for our dates... which are already pretty much sold out for most of the hotels... eeek!

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up that the availability calendar for theme park reservations looks to have increased in ticket availability if anyone is in need of reservations!! I attached screen shots for a visual.

Link to the Park Availability Calendar HERE.

Thanks to @Kerr84 for the heads up!

Since we’re talking about Theme Park Pass Availability... i’m going to bring up November. All the blogs have you panicking that November is “selling out.” Only November 22 is showing as HS is unavailable. Not sure what this means, if anything, but I thought I would just spell it out instead of linking any blog. The entire month of November is still showing full availability. Just wanted to give you guys the heads up.
