Djuan Rivers to retire end of April
After 33 years with the company he assisted with the opening of six resorts in Florida, three resorts at Disneyland Paris and was the opening Vice President of Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii in addition to other roles.

Djuan has served as leader at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for more than 6 ½ years and during his leadership, the park has undergone the largest growth and transform in its history.

definitely more interested in the drinks ... and compared to the donuts, they don't seem crazily priced. I mean, one of the specialty cold brews comes with an entire donut on top for $10 vs $5.5 for just the donut

$10 for that drink/donut, that I am sure is enough to share with someone doesn't seem crazy by Disney standards

I am more interested in hearing/reading a reviewer's take on the breakfast sandwiches. I don't recall many places at DS that have them as quick service option.

Museum of Illusions grand opening to the public at ICON Park January 9th. It looks interesting, but some of the displays would make me dizzy.

that's true - not a ton of breakfast spots at DS

I did read one review of the egg and cheese sandwich they got with the glazed donut in place of the bun and they really liked it - had the sweet and salty thing going

Wow, I didn’t know he was at retirement age already. Wish him the best. Leaders of AK gone this year.

During my November trip, I spent time at Magic Kingdom playing the "Sorcerers". At one point, later in the day, almost all of the Fantasyland portals were not working. Due to social distancing for some of the lines, e.g. Pirates, some portals had to be turned off since you could not easily get to them without appearing to cut in line. There was one portal by Aloha Isle that was difficult to get to. Plus there were a few portals that the infrared scanners either were out of alignment or were just so difficult to activate. Not sure how much feedback was ever submitted on most of these issues though. This was a fun and different way to spend time at Magic Kingdom and not focus on rides. For those who wanted to get your 10,000 steps in, very easy way to do it.

I am so upset over this. I spent half of Christmas day winning two battles. I have two more and then Hades! I was planning on finishing in March. I will spend less time at MK now. No people mover, train, monsters inc, enchanted tales with Belle, and now no more sorcerors. I don't do coasters, so it's hard to fill a day. 🤨

This is pretty upsetting... our nephews are going on their first ever trip and so as part of their Christmas gift we put together "packs" of all our duplicate cards for them to have starter packs. This will now be useless to them and I'm so sad. We have a trip planned at the end of the month and are now seriously considering going a day early now just so we can play the game once in its entirety before it disappears.

I dont even know what to say.......

I liked SOTMK and loved collecting the cards, but I can also see where it has gotten older. I do think it should be replaced with something similar, maybe with some new technology - something that takes a little less time to complete a round of too.
