First Look: Guide Map for Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park

WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure at Disneyland will Use Virtual Queue

“Today, I’m also excited to share that when Avengers Campus opens on June 4, 2021, we will be utilizing the virtual queue system for WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure.* The attraction’s virtual queue is only accessible via the Disneyland mobile app,** and you may only experience the attraction by joining the virtual queue. Similar to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, virtual queue enrollment times will be twice daily, at 7 a.m. and 12 p.m. To learn how the system will work, visit the WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure page.”

I already have anxiety about trying to ride this next month! I'm still super excited to see Avenger's Campus though!

Rise Update

577326

They greatly increased compactly from the last time I was here in September. They removed all social distance markers in the first three pre-show areas and put a whole lot more people in there.

For the first time since COVID I was told to fill in all space! Now it wasn’t 100%, but it was more than from what I’ve seen.

They also loaded all cars and even sat groups with each other. In a row of four, I was seated with a row of two. They did ask first.

Sadly the glass is still on the ride vehicles.

I think that’s it for me. I’m hot. Ride ops and wait times were much better today. Unfortunately there’s no where to cool off really and the lines are in the sun.

I’ll see how long I last at Magic Kingdom tomorrow before I drive home.

Disney CEO Bob Chapek comments on capacity increases at Disney World

Bob said that we can expect to see "low double digit increases" in attendance over the next couple of months, and that we should see the full benefits of the relaxation of guidelines closer to the end of Q4, around September. He went on to talk about how despite restrictions being eased for guests, the parks are still bound by OSHA guidelines that adds great complexity to the process of scaling back restrictions as a whole at the parks.

Adding another excerpt from Blog Mickey’s post...

“Perhaps most interesting is that Chapek reiterated that the Disney Park Pass reservation system would be used even in a post-pandemic environment as a means of managing demand and ticket pricing”

Yeah, I believe it is as @unbanshee says, you'd have to use the two diffrerent windows because you can't have more than one at once. If there was in fact availability, you could theoretically get the other one after you ride the first one, but we all know how availability has been for Rise. It's just not against the rules to ride both in the same day, but it may not be possible in practice.

Personally I find it ridiculous that I have to try my luck in a lottery at 7 AM to ride something.
So my question when I first saw this has been if Disneyland's BGs for Rise go as quickly as the ones at DHS? I know it's more of a "locals" park, so I wasn't sure how they two compared and how the new ride will impact things.

You are right in that the parks are different in the types of guests, but still, the two newest rides on the block will have the largest demand. It may not be quite as bad as at WDW though.

I was under the impression that MMRR at HS opened after RotR? Maybe I'm wrong. :confused3

But, I think they are both the most popular rides (a.k.a. sought after), by far, on both coasts.

So basically they will artificially show one park is full to force people to another park.

The boarding groups are gone within seconds every time at Disneyland. I've been really lucky each time, but I've been standing next to people who go in at the same time and can't get a group. But, I think overall Galaxy's Edge is pretty quiet in DLR compared to WDW.
