Years ago (I was about 18 or 19) I had to have 2 back teeth pulled and he had to have the other dentist come in and help him. I had 2 of them in there pulling and tugging.
SInce then I have had the rest of my teeth pulled and now have full dentures. Back in 2006 I had the top ones pulled and had most of them done by a dental surgeon and I told him I wanted to be knocked out. They gave me IV sedation. They told me that afterwards I would think I was asleep but I would actually be awake and probably talking. I totally don't remember any of it. Then in 2024 I had the lowers pulled and that surgeon wouldn't do IV sedation. I really should have refused him and gone to the 1st guy. It was basically ok but they said they would do the Nitrous oxide and it had absolutely NO effect on me. So I was completely aware of all. of. it.
