Praying for your recovery!Had a major stroke in hospital, decided to watch Milan,if this would’ve been s Covid theatre release it would’ve been an epic disaster
Y a.. I am planning a "1 day at Disney" trip in November and was planning on DHS (mainly because I went to SWGE a year ago and thus missed the opening of the Railway and Rise of the resistance)
I am worried too it will feel like a "wasted day" --
1) I won't be able to get in a boarding group for Rise (and thus the whole point of the day there!)
2) The lines for everything else will be unbearably long despite the lack of people in the parks. (But with nothing else to do in the park, I'll still wait in them).
3) Not being able to get dining reservations (which seems even harder now despite the low crowds and only making them at 60 days). As an adult-only trip, I was hoping to get into Oga's -- nope .. no availability, even at 60 days out for just 2 people).
Luckily I am planning on just going with the wife, so we can roll with those punches better than kids. (which is why we are choosing to wait for a "normal" family vacation still)
DHS just seems like cursed with its own success right now .. it has a LOT of popular rides, just not many of them .. and the removal of the shows just means there isn't much to do there. So it has enough "cool" things to attract all the crowds, but not enough things to do to spread out the crowds.
And social distancing is just going to affect queue times .. we'll see how and when Disney changes those as they inevitably let more people in the parks.
This just blows all dark rides out of the water for me in terms of physical sets. Its amazing.
Perception really is quite an interesting thing. We were in HS that same day. Several attractions got down to 15-20 minute waits throughout the day. We got our boarding pass for RoR, rode MMRR three times, Slinky Dog twice, Midway Mania three times, Alien Saucers twice, and Star tours several times. We did skip Rockin Rollercoaster and ToT simply because my nine year old is not a fan, but definitely could have fit them in if wanted.Just wanted to add that on Saturday September 12th it was raining all day long. The shortest wait in DHS was for Muppets and it was 35 minutes. MMRR reached 120 at one point. MFSR line started in Toy Story Land. TOT and RNRC Were both over 60 minutes and the lines started side by side half way back to "main street"
Obviously that's why they call you Mr. Incredible!Perception really is quite an interesting thing. We were in HS that same day. Several attractions got down to 15-20 minute waits throughout the day. So GCH remains open, but front desk moves to Pago Pago house and front door to GCH closes. Can still get into GCH through the other entrances. Monorail stops 11/2.
I'm not even going to watch because I'll be annoyed that WDW won't get this and I don't see myself going overseas anytime soon.

ugh, now I'm depressed. Didn't know that. Any chance it'll be at DL at least?
Could be just concrete work. I don't think its major.any idea what this is for? Just a more permanent structure for the food and beverage kiosk that was there?
