I guess the key to me would be .. are there huge increase in cases in the counties surrounding Orlando? How many of those are being traced back to the parks that ARE open (Universal, Sea World,
Legoland)? Have their been reports of employees there testing positive? If outbreaks are happening at this very public theme parks, then Disney will probably consider a delay. If not, then Disney should be able to open just like other businesses and let everyone assess their own risk despite the rising numbers.
I personally don't feel unsafe right now going to the beach .. or a zoo . .or a theme park as those are mostly outdoors. But I am not about to go marching onto an airplane or a movie theater any time soon. We can be open and be safe, we just have to realize there is no 100% safe .. so cases will continue to rise. And at some point we just have to be okay with that.
