Very cool thread. Would love to see more detail about each object. But, the single pictures are totally click-worthy!

yeah. And, instead of collecting spoons during your trips, you can collect commemorative face masks. "I'm at Mt Rushmore... Should I get a Teddy or Lincoln mask? I don't know..."Potential "Tax credit for vacations" being discussed

Guess I am gonna have to look up this instagram thing
And, to let your teens know you're in the know, be sure to call it 'The Instagram'! They love that!!!Insta is pretty much the only social media my teens (and their peers) use...
What a weird idea. I don't think Americans need a tax incentive to go on vacation. And frankly I don't think most Americans are going to book a vacation for a "tax credit".Potential "Tax credit for vacations" being discussed

Either people are going to risk going on vacation or they are not -- based on their own comfort with that risk. The problem now isn't really money -- it's the inconsistency of what's open or not and the various restrictions that make it inconvenient or not worth the money spent (like going to a theme park, having stuff closed, and having to wear a mask in hot/humid weather).
I mean .. once the beaches opened up here . people are flocking to them, though I doubt a lot of it is out-of-state tourists yet . .because there are no restrictions .. it's "normal".
AAAAHHHHHHHHH - no more must have collectibles!!!
Yep space is limited here too but I may or may not have pre-ordered it...AAAAHHHHHHHHH - no more must have collectibles!!!
YEP - Add these to my growing list that I also have absolutely NO room to display
I can understand that it's an attempt at re-igniting the travel industry, but it's pretty misguided IMO. Basically, it's just giving a tax break to those fortunate enough to be financially unaffected by COVID, which are people that very likely would have gone on vacation once its safe or "worth it" anyways. What a weird idea. I agree - but it hasn't been enacted yet, so who knows whether it will happen or what the details will be.I can understand that it's an attempt at re-igniting the travel industry, but it's pretty misguided IMO.
