I feel a lot of the refurbishments (like this and People Mover) may just be "extended" until they feel they need the attraction again to save costs (and who can blame them). .

While I know that January is typically "refurbishment season" .. between the refurbished attractions, closed attractions due to entertainment cuts just announced, and lack of M&Gs .. I am pretty bummed and seriously reconsidering my end of January trip, or maybe make it a day or two shorter to save a few bucks.

So basically they just don't want people crowding into the parks early.

I think that's a good way to alleviate that, so long as you have the reservation for DHS on that day you can try to book from anywhere.

This is great news. I wrote in another thread about how discouraging this ride is for out of state or infrequent visitors. At least this takes out the stress.

More than anything my heart aches for the 6yo child being raised by a parent who throws them under the bus for something wrong they did! Poor kid!

This is something we've talked about and suggested for months!! So glad to see Disney is making this change! Getting a BG was stressing guests out months before their trip!!!
