Ahh .. didn't realize they were doing it in phases .. thought it was going to be like TSL or Galaxy's Edge where it opens all at once. Interesting. This is one attraction only and they used some existing infrastructure to convert it to this new land.
Must mean they are expecting much lower crowds than anticipated, right?
It's a good thing Disney had the attendance they did in February because March seems like it's heading south quick.Between this and the other announcement about Coronavirus, I'm thinking they are seeing a significant number of cancellations for the second half of March and perhaps beyond.
All speculation, but will this mean people will defer their vacations until the summer? or the fall? or next year? Just curious on opinions. It's a good thing Disney had the attendance they did in February because March seems like it's heading south quick.
Monday and Tuesday of this week last year ,Touring Plans measured crowd levels of:
WDW: 10 both days. This year 8 and 7.
DLP: 9 and 10, this year 7 and 5.
Just checked MDE and wait times weren't as outrageous, outside of FOP as I thought they would be for the spring break season. Did see that Frozen and River Journey are both down. It's a good thing Disney had the attendance they did in February because March seems like it's heading south quick.
