Struggling in the sense that rides keep breaking down and they can't keep up. Crowds are coming but the park itself is struggling.

I could see that - they told us they were having issues with all the new technology. To me it was weird that they had such short hours also - 9am to 9pm - with the roaring rapids ride closed one day of the week and closing regularly in the later afternoon/early evening before the park closed. Basically it had different hours which were included on the guide map.

Yes I heard roaring Rapids was specifically struggling the most with tech issues. Some of these rides were rushed to get open in time.

things are slower on both coast for a variety of reasons. in florida it has to do with strong dollar and bad economy in latin america. also zika has put a damper on florida travel. but one of the main reasons that have been heard is people waiting for the new stuff. They are postponing until 2017-2018 to enjoy all the new attractions. In ca , raising the cost of Ap's seems to have done the trick and also with the 60th winding down and nothing in the pipeline for a couple of years and half DL down, again people are waiting. when star wars land opens, crowds will show up again. but really in California they can go back to the days when night parades were seasonal as well as fireworks. also the holiday season is coming up in both parks and they used to not do night parades except the special ones for the holidays. and DL did soundsational twice a day when the parks were open late or did the holiday parade twice during christmas.

Well, they will still have Wishes, no? Also, from what I have heard the SW Fireworks are definitely around at least until the end of the year, but I guess not 100% gurantee

Today was a great day for the Company, as we announced third quarter adjusted earnings per share that were 12% above last year, marking our 12th consecutive quarter of double-digit growth.


Our Studio led the way once again, delivering 62% growth in operating income year-over-year. Our Studio is having a tremendous year both creatively and commercially, with great successes from Pixar, Marvel, Disney Animation, and Disney live action. Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War; Disney Animation’s Zootopia, and Disney’s The Jungle Book are the world’s three biggest movies of the year so far– earning critical acclaim and averaging more than $1 billion each in global box office – and Pixar’s Finding Dory is the #1 domestic release of 2016. The Studio’s slate of upcoming releases looks very strong, too.


Today we also announced an important strategic investment, acquiring a 33% stake in a technology platform called BAMTech, which provides Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League with a robust means of delivering live, streamed sports on a direct-to-consumer basis. We have an option to acquire majority ownership in the future, which will enable ESPN, and other Disney media businesses, to reach more people in more modern, compelling ways.

It has times listed Sept: 12, 14, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 28, etc. 3 days a week in Oct, 3 days a week in November (except the first week and Thanskgiving week, when it is every night), 3 days a week in December (exceptthe last two weeks, when it is 5 nights and 7 nights.) No times are listed past 12/31.
Most, but not all, of the days it is not listed are party nights.

He also said that an announcement is coming today about this specifically. So either we will hear something today, or it will sound like just another rumor that didn't have any substance
