News Round Up 2016

Rumor

Tower of Terror in DHS will love the Twilight Zone tie in but will stay Tower of Terror.

Bummed to hear this, but if it means DHS keeps ToT, then so be it. I wonder how soon the new version will be put in place...

That's kind of bizarre - that means they would need to eliminate the theme song and get rid of the Rod Serling introduction and voiceover and images during the ride. It seems like it would be a LOT of effort to make changes to keep essentially the same ride - how much can paying for the name really cost?

Well they could go with something along the lines of Tokyo's version. That has no twilight zone tie in but does have the thrill element and haunted hotel element.

That's what I was thinking but I feel like Tokyo's story sort of clichè.

I thought she was becoming an official disney princess.

oh, she is? The news blurb didn't mention that - just that the show is to welcome her and will run multiple times a day, etc.

Interesting they would make her official before Elsa/Anna or Sofia, etc.

seems like it is just a "welcome" show for her - not that she is becoming an official Disney princess or anything, correct?

That's what I've gathered from this - she's being welcomed to the kingdom but as "their special guest from Avalor."

The past coronations have involved the rest of the princesses as well, not just Cinderella. They were also much more of a production than a DPB live stream event.
