News Round Up 2016

At the risk of being labeled a cynic and LOL follower... ;)

This is worrisome. Imagine the next steps:

$69 for Breakfast and limited rides + $119 for 10a-9pm day ticket + $99 for 9pm - 12am dessert and rides. A single day at the MK would be: $287... or a package deal for $249.

We are walking very close to that ledge folks. Next stop.... DHS $109 for a ticket... But wait... you want Star Wars Land access? That's another $79.

Didn't the extra hours pass cost $10 about 10 years ago? Probably longer but still...

Has there been any updates on ROL? I've searched the forum and haven't found much chatter? Is there hope for a fall opening?

All in all, I think it is tastefully done. It doesn't affect the sight line and it reminds me of the rocky shores of New England.
Rocks would probably work without a fence, too. Even when we wanted to walk in the ocean when we were little it was a pain filled exercise until we were up to our waists and swimming. That was actually my first thought of how to keep people out of the WDW waterways.

Agreed. Rocks and fense, no one will go in there.

Plus anything that's out on the rocks sticks out.

I like that they kept the sand leading up to it, gives it a natural beach feel.

So the rocks alone obviously didn't stop you going in the water. Hence the fence.

The fence adds an extra layer of attention upon anyone who goes into the water. If someone was to actually climb the fence and go over the rocks into the water they would literally have a crowd of people standing and applauding the stupidest person they have encountered on their vacation. Can't see many people wanting to draw that kind of attention to themselves.

The hope is still fall. Some issues were fixed others still remain.

I can only imagine that Dis wants to get this open ASAP.. keeping guests late at AK has got to be hard without a, presumed to be, quality show. Can't get guests to stick around and spend money if you don't have anything to do. You can only ride Safari and Everest so many times. Pandora and ROL can't come soon enough!
