People on WDW Magic speculating due to the coincidence of dates, that this may be to make way for a new Shanghai themed exhibit. I guess they did something similar for the Hong Kong park.

Thrilled to see him return to MK, and it's a pretty prime spot, even if Tomorrowland makes slightly more sense.

It does seem like an odd choice. When we were there in 2014, Stitch showed up in Tomorrowland one morning. My wife got photos with him while I was taking my son on Astro Orbiter. (Showing my age, I still want to call them Star Jets)

That rock work behind the building, is that just decorations or is that housing the show building for the meet & greet? Just seems pretty massive for that purpose (or is that part of the ride?)
