They are testing Harry Potter at Universal Hollywood,and the workers are coming off it and throwing up, it may not get open on the day they planned. and they cant figure out why.

Just heard Tom mention an article about this on the Disneyland podcast - although he didn't mention where he read it.

I find myself wondering what the threshold for screen-based attractions is. Apparently Universal is determined to find out.

Yes, it's the actual stand behind the Christmas store. It's a location to pick up cards/start a new game rather than an actual portal.

It's very small and unassuming - just a stand with a training portal (that just opened in November) near the Glade where Tiana and Naveen meet.

For the most part, only people who play the game regularly actually visit there since it's easy to access once the game has been completed.

Wow I never realized that was a location to pick up cards. I have always dealt with the firehouse (and I have done it enough times that I am only two cards short of a full collection minus the ones you get from purchasing the game set). So sad that I learn such a convenient trick right when it is going away. I still stand by hating the location by the riverboat. I always seem to have to go there in the rain as well...

New name being thrown around Disney's Cinemagic Kingdom

Not loving that new name...hope they are wrong.

Yeah, it's absolutely terrible. I don't see it happening. Too close to Magic Kingdom. And also terrible.

So I've heard that the new name would be something closer to Disney's Hollywood Adventure. I agree with previous posters that Disney wouldn't want to confuse guests with two parks named "kingdom". I would imagine that the new name would come with a re-branding of the park once the Star Wars and Toy Story lands are ready to go.

Um they already have two parks with kingdom... Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom...

I think it's more that the name 'Cinemagic Kingdom' literally contains the words 'Magic Kingdom' within it. It's just too close - imagine the potential for confusion and annoyance.

Yes I agree that he isn't the best but the man has been right before.

There is some substance to what he says even if some of it is wrong.

It's my way of "discouraging" giving this clown any credence.

And before you say "it's just rumors"...this guys track record is pretty apparent. Just trolls other sites and rewords other things he sees/hears and then goes a step further for "grabbers"

Anybody can start a website and do that. I could. But if I did - I wouldn't want you passing it along anymore than this scenario.

The whole "cinematic kingdom" things is nonsense...Disney is particular about their names and that one passes none of the corporate protocols.

It's not grabbing, memorable, and would cause a lot of confusion.

I think Williams could sleep well last night. I also didn't LOVE the score of TFA as much as I would have hoped.

In fact...it's not close to empire...which still sends chills down my spines today when I listen to it - and I often do

I have guessed right before...I did on the lucasfilm buy before it happened when there were some rumors of Lucas not wanting to keep running things...

But I also don't start things around her with "we hear _____ is gonna happen"

There's no accountability...which means people can talk with a different hole other that the one above their chin...

It's kinda embarassing that Hollywood didn't give anything about Star Wars a second thought though...especially after all the critic gushing the first weekend.

I think the inference there is that they made a completely "corporate" movie...not necessarily a "good one"...

That's a legit take.

I also didn't like Abrams giving out best director...that was abc/Disney force feeding Star Wars into the broadcast and nobody there was interested.

I woulda been ok with Tom hanks or Denzel giving that award out. Personally.

Another thread is reporting BTMRR refurb being pushed back to August - 8/8-11/19. It's not listed on the wdwinfo list of refurbs. Anything official? Did I miss this news? Because it is VERY important to my 9 yo!

Of course I agree that it needs the maintenance but it is interesting that they moved it to that time period
