There isn't. They've already made it pretty clear what Avatarland is and it's using Pandora the setting not the plot of Avatar and its sequels.

But, James has also made it very clear that the main premise of Avatar 2 was expanding and showing more of Pandora, the parts that didn't exist in the original movie. As the themed area & the movie were developed in conjunction I wouldn't be surprised that a lot of avatar 2 is in the land. Remember Avatar doesn't have a very good plot, that's not why it exists, it exists for Pandora.

That being said, I don't think Disney will allow the themed land to be delayed. The development stage is out and I don't think Cameron or his producer have any involvment in the current stage. I wouldn't be surprised, however, if James tries to get it delayed

The land has nothing to do with the new movies. The land is all about Pandora and it's features. This has been stated from Disney and Cameron.

Even if it was using locations from Avatar 2 that would hardly constitute any sort of "spoiler" and wouldn't be a reason to delay production.

But it isn't. They've made that clear repeatedly. The concept of the land is that you are tourists to Pandora. You're not visiting locations in the movies, you're just visiting the planet.

As others have said, it's been made clear time and time again by Disney & Cameron that there isn't material from the movie used in AK. Furthermore, Disney isn't stupid. Given Cameron's history with movie delays, the new land quite possibly would never open were it dependent upon source material from the new movie.

Kylo is now meeting at Disneyland.

Kylo will replace Vader in all of his M&G. Vader is still at DHS.

He is not at DHS yet. From what I've heard Vader will leave both meets.

It's kinda silly to replace darth Vader with kylo ren. Nobody is Gonna argue that a picture with darth Vader is better...

They're following in the George Lucas misguided tradition of catering to 9 year olds.

I think it would be best to do both. Vader and Kylo switch them off or something or at the very least keep Vader in the visa meet and greet.

It's A continuation of Igers quest to be "too proud" of Abrams reboot masterpiece (2 bil by February...by the way...)...in favor of dumping the original foundation movies that aren't going to diminish in popularity anytime soon.

I still can't get over the insistence on the parks being "all new stuff"...

Why? To not give a reason to the billion or so avid fans of the original movies to flock there to see a Star Wars experience that gives it justice (NOT star tours)?

It's almost like they don't really own the rights to the classic movies or something...

Darth Vader shows up as one of the top 5 or so characters on every poll/list of iconic movie characters or villians...every single one.

Who needs him? They can always just have geppeto walk around by himself in the courtyard outside...as usual.

It's possible this relates to Disney's corporate structure. I read or heard somewhere that "costume" characters that appear in the parks around the time that DVDs are released are paid for by marketing, not parks. So basically this would be a freebie from a parks perspective. Which has got to be tempting.

It also means it's likely not a permanent arrangement.

When we were there in early Dec, they had both Darth Vader and Kylo in the Jedi Training School as villains...with the second set of new recruits that had to fight off Kylo on a ground stage in front of the older raised stage. Standing along the edges, you couldn't see the kids with Kylo very well...and of course, at that time, no one really knew who he (or she judging by the voice) was. (This of course was before the movie came out...so the new story of the training school was a little hard to follow...now it makes more sense)
