NEWS from WDW regarding EPCOT

One of the toll plaza workers who recognized me stopped me today and came over to my window and told me that starting next week, EPCOT will begin opening one hour later or in another words, 10:00 a.m. rather than 9:00

This is not good news Kathryn, coupled with the Orlando Sentinel story I read today that they are elimating some show performances....they're hurting more than they are letting on.

We were at WDW Sept 22-29th and my mom was really bothered by the fact that so many things in the MK were closed or on shorter hours. Her point was that Disney is pleading poverty and begging people to come down but those who do come get a lot less. Not that I am crying about the EPCOT news since you pretty much have to drag me there kicking and screaming but if they do it to EPCOT what else is next?

Where DH & I really felt short changed was Universal Studios Hollywood! Their admit price was very high, in comparison to DL/DCA. There is not near as much to do in USH. And to add more insult, we were there on a Thursday. Many attractions/shows were not open during the week! And that was even Memorial Day week.

KAP...no slamming of EPCOT...that's the best park..of course to each his own...but I'll defend that park till the day I die!!!
