I read about this on another board. If this happened (and lots of cast memebers are saying that it did), the folks in charge of this event should be ashamed of themselves for the way those cast members were treated.

I read it on Mouseplanet the day they posted it (I check over there daily as they have some really cool articles on occasion). This is so unbelievable. Even if the studio didn't want the CMs to see the movie they could have found plenty for them to do without making them prisoners. Someone's head needs to roll over this. If that's not possible, then someone needs to at least apologize and admit they could have handled it better.

Stories like this really make me question whether I want to be a Cast Member some day. It's hubbys and my hope to do that after retirement, but......


I owned a store for 10 years and I treated my employees like gold, because they were gold....by my good treatment of them, they turned around and treated my customers like gold. It was a win win situation for everyone and in addition, my business saw fantastic returns that I have no doubt were produced by my employees attitudes and love of their jobs.

I believe Disney might need to re-learn some people skills...seems they might have lost sight of what makes their company RUN. I'm surprised there wasn't a massive walk-out by the employees who found themselves in this situation.
