Meet Tink??? It sure sounded that way from the article. I love Tink, but I think a lot of her magic comes from being in-accessable as a character in the parks. She sure doesn't belong at DCA, but I can see if that's the only park they have room for her... I dunno... It might work if it's only a special, to coinside with the movie release. On the other hand, if it's an attraction, not character, that would be great!

i'm confused at where all this land is that they have. sure is not bare land. i remember when dca was the big flat parking lot.

Thank you audrabolster, very interesting. As for bare land, if the City of Anaheim would leave DLR alone and quit calling eminent domain on the property they do own a expansion would be possible. My guess the land would be constructed from the Golden Dreams Theatre to the McDonalds restaurant. Since that the closing of the theatre was mentioned. So, let's see what happens.

The Tink thing might be cool if it was similar to Honey I Shrunk the Audience where she allows for you to "enter" her world and shrink to her size while really just remaining in your theater seat (or if it's like that old 60s ride where people were in Doombuggies and were "shrunk").

To me, it sounded like only an October thing, though... how about anyone else?

I would love to see another park across from GardenWalk. My In-laws belong to the Time Share that is going up across the street from the "strawberry field."

I wouldn't mind a tink attraction, but if it is the meet and greet thing I'll be disappointed. It seems like it might turn out like the Ariel meet and greet.

Theres actually a big piece of land owned by Disney. Its actually your CM's parking lot and also another small parking lot that isnt used at all. Currently, there is 1 hotel that is in the way but DIsney will try to buy them out and/or move them to another location. The other hotel in the corner is actually not up and running no more.

This rumour has been going for quite some time over on the WDW boards. Both the old FL sky ride area (which is usually just used for stroller parking nowadays), and ToonTown have been hinted at as housing a Tink meet and greet. The ToonTown County Bounty character meet area had 3 rooms - the usual meet 'n' greet offerings were classic pals, princesses and 100 Acre Wood. For a good few months now, 1 of the rooms has been empty because Pooh and his buddies have been moved out to nearer their play area and attraction.

Speculation of this unused room being converted to a magical "shrink guests down to size" room for meeting Tink have been floating around since the closure of that room. I would imagine if that's what does happen at WDW, it might also come to DL, too.

duh, you are correct I was thinking about WDW's FL. I get Bi-coastal confusion, since I go to both !
