Newport Bay - USB

Hello, small daft question but... does anyone anyone know if the Newport Bay has USB charge ports in the rooms (to save me buying a UK converter).

yes, they have plus they also have two USB ports plus one UK plug as well...

This is wonderful news. My family and I are visiting from the U.S. this summer. Do you happen to know if Hotel New York is the same?

Not sure, as it hasn't had its refurb yet and they seem to be installing the UK plugs & USB during the refurbs

no new plugs at New York Hotel, as tennisfan mentioned they only started putting USB after refub ... was thinking now and dont remember if they had them at SQL, we stayed there 2 or 3 years ago after refub but dont think they had them then... only Newport and Cheyanne got them in the new rooms for sure...

Wow that's a great question, OP. We need to bring a converter/adapter set anyway but at least we can all charge our devices instead of taking turns. I hadn't even thought of looking for a USB port to charge. I'm assuming that it's safe for US devices too?

I'm here at the Newport now and the only USB I can find are in the TV - problem being that they only charge when the tv is on.
