Hi there!

I just booked the Newport Bay in a Compass Club room for the half marathon weekend, and while the images look gorgeous I was looking for a bit more information...

1- The gentleman on the phone said that we would be receiving 1 extra Fast Pass per day. How does this work? Do we switch it out at the attraction of choice? Do we preschedule?

2- What is offered at the Club? I was told juices and soda- is there wine and beer? Breakfast? etc.

I have stayed at the Sequoia Lodge Golden Forest club a few months back which is similar. The hotel fast passes are large paper slips that will work on any ride that accepts the paper fast passes (there are a small number of rides that are excluded, and these fast passes only work during certain hours - the pass will state the conditions and exclusions). You do not need to exchange it for a ride specific pass - just walk up to the fast pass queue and use your hotel fast pass, which the attendant will take from you. One thing though - the fast pass lines are sometimes closed in the mornings until a certain time. We found out you can still use your hotel fast pass - just walk directly up to the attendant and show then the pass and they will let you in to the fast pass lane (we did this on ToT quite a few times!).

With regards to offerings in the lounge, I think its similar at all the club lounges. In Sequoia Lodge, a full and quite extensive breakfast service is offered with continental and hot options on the buffet (but you are not allowed to take any of these items out of the lounge). Beverages (non-alcoholic) are offered free of charge from early afternoon till close - and you may take these with you. In the evening there is a canapé / snack selection offered. Alcoholic drinks are available in the lounge throughout the day, but they are at a charge - there are menus inside that show the prices. There was no "happy hour" (free alcohol) offered in the Golden Forest club.
