Looks like they started gluing some recently. Oh well, for some it's a good deal. Sorry for the confusion.

The magnets come off leaving just the minifigs, so yes, they ARE minifigs. I have ordered many of these over the years. The magnets are removeable.

I guess it is different with the keychains. I was excited to see the Ewok then found out you can't remove the keychain. I also saw this "•Minifigures are not detachable from 2x4 bricks." about the magnets. Nice deal if it works for some.

I guess the gluing is new. Sorry for the confusion.

Yes, gluing is fairly new. I almost bought some just to see how hard it would be to unglue them. I did get wicket. I just have DH cut the keychain off and live with the ring coming out of his head. DS8 doesn't care.

We do this too. I like it since they don't come apart like the others so I don't have to hear "where's xyz's head (or legs or whatever)?" when they are playing!

Bummer about gluing the magnets though, tempted to also get them and see how hard it'll be to get the magnet off... can't be that bad....
