newly acquired points for a 2023 reservation (can I apply these)?

Hi all......
Just purchased a small add-on direct with DVC.
I will be making a reservation in Dec for a July 2023 trip. December is the 7 month mark.
I own 275 points. Here is what I have left (I will need to use and borrow). Question: The points I JUST purchased a few days ago----can I use those 50 points for 2022?? I feel not since my banking deadline is in Oct (March Use Year). So for my trip in July 2023 I can or can not use the 2022 points?
My lineup:
Mar 2022: 50 (newly purchased add-on)
Mar 2023: 142
Mar 2024: 275

Just call MS and have them bank the new points. They do this for those who have just purchased new points and have passed the banking deadline.

Once banked, they will be eligible for a July 2023 trip.
