I've wondered how they pick mods...
And the tag fairy.

I know that around 2 and a half years ago, I was sent a PM by Kathy. She said that the VMK board was getting new sub-forums and I was a good poster and that I could be a mod. It was completely unexpected on my part.

It's pretty easy.
I just open up one of my avatars and resize it to 90, which is what mine is and usually it'll take it.
Sometimes you'll have to make it smaller. Usually if I have to go less than 80, I find another picture.
