Apparently the school we're playing next week are.. excuse the chaviness "well 'ard".
A chav on our team's mother coaches them soo..

I don't even play for the school anymore.
Partly because of commitments to my horse partly because of the coaches.
I'm quite good at netball, not brilliant but I'm a hell of a lot better than some idiots xD
When we first started playing it in Y6 I went to every practise and played my best all the time. Did I ever get selected for the team? Noooo. Why? Because the coaches only ever paid attention to the popular girls even when they couldn't shoot or catch and always gossiped on the sidelines. Nothing changed in year 7 either except for the fact that I somehow made the teams (the B team mind you, but the B team always beat the A team).

The only reason i get picked is because im the only goalie who turns up.

I just joined my local riding club and talk about cliquey!
They have the same SJ team every year because the one girl is the chairmans daughter who is very talented and the rest are her friends who happen to have ponies genuine enough to hurl themselves over jumps despite the bad riding. My friend Lizzie was all ooh yeh me and todd made the sj team hahahahaha. I was like wth? I've had Comet three bloody months I'm not trying to get on a team and I can assure you that even if I was jumping 2ft6 courses and upwards and winning them I still wouldn't be on the team.

There's this girl in my class who's two sisters and her are amazing at gymnastics, but in every gym lesson.. it's our teacher comparing us to her.
It drives me mad.
I'm like, WE'RE NOT ALL GYMNASTS MIND!!

Call me old fashioned but I believe people should make teams because of their ability not because of their contacts.
Ah well I'm still physced for spring which marks the end of hunting season (hallelujah!) and the beginning of CROSS COUNTRY SEASON. Only like my favourite sub-division of horse-riding EVERRRRR. I haven't done much with Comet because of the ground and the fact that most courses within easy travelling distance shut over winter. I want to get him out to the one at Chepstow for some practise in march though then I can go to hunter trials. YAAAAYY. They're the best! And they have pair classes, so I can do either the minimum or the novice (depending on the course and what practise I've had) on my own and then the minimum or novice pairs with Lizzie. Aaaah I love it! Hopefully my old instructor will start having rallies and competitions over there now too. Her competitions are so lovely, it's invitation only so everyone is really friendly, the classes aren't that challenging so they're great for novices to gain confidence and also brilliant for me to show Commie off at (well providing he does well xD). I think he could actually beat some of the people who usually win though, if I pushed his turns to see how tight he can go. Last time when I came 2nd and 3rd at the show I was riding my jump offs quite wide and slow so he covers ground quite nicely. Oooooooo I'm so excited!
