I'm actually tired now, but I wasn't during my first trimester.

I'm going on 29 wks, and still waiting on my energy boost! I've been tired, and sick, since 7 wks.

Awww, man! LOL That's not good news. I have been so tired, the house is a wreck, we need to move before baby comes and it goes on and on lol. Oh well, as long as we have a healthy baby I don't care what state the house is in!

I have a wedding to go to in 2 weeks and I have no idea what to wear, I feel huge already.

As you will hear a million times, every pregnancy is different. So maybe you'll be lucky. When I was where you're at, I still couldn't keep food down, so sounds like you're doing better than me!

Energy boost...never had one of those w/any of my pregnancy. This time, though....third trimester is the worst. I don't remember being this exhausted at 30 weeks, but I could have just blocked it out of my mind.

I think all the pregnancy books lie lol! They just want to give you hope but then nope, no energy boost lol! I hope I nest at least cause I have had no motivation to clean or do anything and that is so not like me, I love everything nice and tidy.

Yep! It the same as everyone telling me that me being so dang sick during my first trimester meant I had a very healthy pregnancy and/or I'll have an easy baby. Ha!

I'll be 18 weeks tomorrow and I still haven't gotten my energy boost. I could honestly sleep 12 hours straight and still want to sleep more. I am tired all the time. My dr. says the baby is growing so much during this time that it can sap a lot of your energy. I hope I get that energy back sometime. Probably not until my kid turns 18

My dad wouldn't let me paint my nursery..

We tore off the old crown molding (which looked like it had been there for about 15 years and DH and I planned on just replacing (it had been painted like 16 times and looked icky) and there was a GAP underneathe of it. Dad said it was from plaster tape, and they'd done the crown molding just to cover the gap. He spent most of the day filling the gap between the walls (plaster) and the cieling with joint compound and we have to wait for it to dry.

If DH and I didn't have a TON of homework to do we'd be going back to paint it tomorrow, I want it DONE! I'm off Wednesday and I threatened to do it then but DH told me not to dare go paint by myself. Looks like it'll be next weekend. Unless my friend is off Wednesday, too.. but I don't know yet.

So today we got blinds installed in the bathroom (which are two inches too short, our guestimate was off ), the second coat and trim work finished in the hallway (biiig- goes up the stairs, the entire upstairs, etc.), blinds installed in the living room and my dad filled that crack around the nursery and DH primed some fresh drywall and sanded. Not too bad but still frustating that there is not one room totally done, since all the doorways in the hallway need sanded and painted/stained....

We took the bedding, picked out colors that we liked.. went to the flooring department and held them up to the paint sample to see which worked best. Gray Ghost won! And DH feels special because he picked it out.

My energy didn't come back either. But that might be because we closed on this house 12-22... and I was pretty much in my second trimester when we started on all this house stuff and it's keeping me busy.

They didn't lie about nesting.
I'm definitely doing it already.. but I think it's because I'm a girl that needs to plan and be prepared and I have two incomplete, messy, half-butt homes.

I'm excited for you though! You're almost there I know what you mean though...when I saw my ticker was already at the halfway point it was kinda like "whoa, how did that happen?" I honestly feel like this pregnancy is moving so quickly now whereas in the beginning it felt sooooo slow. It's crazy how time passes!

I know what you mean! At first.. I was counting down the days in my head.. waiting for another week to come. Now I'm like "Oh? It's Tuesday? I'm another week pregnant now."

Did they used to not measure in weeks? DH's Aunt asked me yesterday how far I was, I told her 26 weeks, and she said "In months?" Heck if I know!

You are where I was when I had my ultrasound to find out if I was carrying a Lucas or a Cassidy! That was a super exciting time!


..eta.. in a moment of boredness, I took some of the pictures DH and I have taken and put them side-by-side. Anyone else done this? My goodness! I didn't feel like I was that big but GEESH!

Hi girls! I guess I am one of the lucky ones. I got my energy boost around 14 weeks. I am 23 weeks right now and I feel really good. Almost normal. Thank goodness because we head to Disney Friday

My parents were out this weekend and Natalie's room is all painted. It is so sweet and pretty. I want to move in there. We painted the bottom a soft sage green and the top a really light blush pink. There is a chair rail between. I really love it. The grandparents also bought me a chandelier for her room. That is not up yet. I am going to wait until her furniture is in before we put that up. I don't want the yahoo's who deliver the furniture to hit it.

Sounds like everyone is having a good weekend. Lets hope we all have a great week. I have another ultrasound on Thursday. Just a check up. At least I get to see her again. Hopefully I will get some good pictures of her.

My next routine checkup is on Tuesday. I can't wait to hear my little princess' heartbeat again Not sure I want to get on the scale however.

Hope everyone having snow is tucked in snug as a bug. Be careful all you moms-to-be who go out...watch your steps.

Piecey, it is scary isn't it! It seems like I just got under 100 days, and now I'm under 80! It is flying by, and I have too much to do!

MinnieFan4ever-that sounds so pretty! Dd9's nursery was a sage green and I loved it. It was so soft. We lost that house to a fire 8 years ago last month. It would have been plenty big enough for 3 kids. This one not so much!

Ann, I hope you have a great appt. It was in the 70s here Friday, and we had snow last night. MS weather is crazy!

I've been so sick, and dh is taking good care of me. Last night, he turned the shower on hot and got the bathroom really steamy for me to open up my sinuses. When I came out, he had hooked up ds11's humidifier in our bedroom for me. We skipped church and lunch at my mother's today so I could stay in and rest. He did the grocery shopping this weekend, too. He cooked supper tonight-breakfast foods. I decided to have some OJ with it-BIG mistake.
