I wish I didn't have to strip down! Every other week I get an internal ultrasound, my cervix checked (which hurts for the next 4 days!) and then a regular ultrasound (which also includes those crazy 4-D pics). I ask him every time not to show me the 4-D, but he does anyway and insists on giving me pictures. My DH and I are a little scared of them.

I have gone for several appointments so far. (I'm in my 18 or 19th week.) and have yet to undress. The doc checks my heartbeat and blood pressure and legs for swelling. And I get weighed. But no undressing. Is this abnormal? I did have a PAP during my second month which we due anyway.

They're doing a vag ultrasound on me tomorrow, so I assume I'll be getting undressed. Luckily I had my pap last month, so I don't have to worry about that!

Ladies, I am feeling so much better today! I was cautiously optimistic this morning, but I'm still feeling great and I drank a big thing of Gatorade. We ordered out for lunch and I got a salad, so lets see if I can eat it!

Okay, so what food is everyone finding they enjoy or are able to keep down now being pregnant?

Right now I am on a wonton soup, clementine oranges, and shaved steak sandwich kick. Not all at once however...

I can't wait to go to my first Dr. exam on 12/10. I was told it will be a full exam, so I will be stripping which is scary! I just want to hear that little heart beating.

Salad.
I am LOVING salad. We pop down to Bob Evans a LOT for me to grab a salad. The only thing I can't eat is lots of deep-fried stuff. It makes my tummy rumble like crazy.

My appointment is tomorrow, which is actually a week early, but the nurse said it was fine. I gave them the wrong date of my last af.

I still haven't had any cravings and I'm just able to keep food down today, but the salad I had for lunch was divine. It's the Quizno's Cobb flat bread...yummmmmmm I only ate a little to make sure I was good to go, but now I want to go eat more. Hopefully that means the new meds will get me through my WDW free dining trip!

Totally normal. I havent even had a pap this pregnancy. I wasnt due, because I had one in January of this year..

I get my weight checked, BP, and then ultrasound to check the heartbeats. Sometimes she measures me.. But not very often. its only for kicks anyways, I wont measure right.

Yesterday I thought I was having the worst morning sickness of my life. After I visited the bathroom for about the 20th time that day and threw up for the 4th time in 6 hours and couldn't even keep a sip of water down, I called a friend who is a doula. Turn out I have the stomach flu.

I never thought I'd be glad to have the flu, but I'm just so glad that this wasn't morning sickness. I thought I was going to feel like this for a few more weeks.

My kids just stand in the hall and yell for their dad. DAD... moms barfin again!!! I still get sick sometimes. Not often, but the smell of cold spaghetti sauce... yick. Gets me every time.

There must be a stomach thing going around. My dr thinks that is what my problem was this week--then I found out that my manager had the stomach flu the last couple of days--so that must have been it. It makes so much sense now.

I'm feeling great today--even ate a Whooper Jr. lol

I had my first ultrasound today. I'm 4 days shorter along than I thought, but everything looks good and we saw the little heart pulsing, so that was cool. Looks like just one little guy, so at least I don't have to wonder about that anymore. It was a VERY quick appointment, I'll be sure to more prepared next time. She was in and out so fast I even forgot to mention my Disney trip. It kinda sucked--they weren't even all that busy.

Oh! There was a guy in the waiting room eating corn nuts and I kept thinking--dude! No one should eat in an OB waiting room, that's just asking for it. Luckily the smell didn't seem to bother anyone, but man was it strong to this pregnant nose!

Yeah! It was really cool and so amazing that after only 4 real weeks the little pea already has a heart is sooo amazing. One of my books said you can't see the heartbeat until 12 weeks...maybe that was 'hear'...
