"Newest" Moms Hangout... take 2!

Elliott's party was so much fun....although too much cake, and I think a touch of stomach flu made for a looooooong night. Have to get the rest of my pics on the computer, but here is the cake my sister made for him! He loved it!!! The MMC guys I ordered from Amazon, but she did this rest.

Wow! Your sister is so talented!

Hellooooo?? Anybody home???

Well, hopefully everything is going good with everyone!! We are still in a Super Bowl Champions frenzy here. Elliott had a good time watching the game with us. He liked when everyone cheered! DH stayed with him after the game, and I took the two older ones downtown to celebrate with 10,000-20,000 of our closest friends!!

My stepdaughter sent me the funniest text yesterday. She told me having a baby in the house makes her child development class so much easier, so thank you!!:rotfl:

All is well here. We are looking forward to the weather next week... 70's!!!! Finally we can get outside and play. I can hear the zoo calling our name!

70s here next week too! So sick of the cold weather. This southern girl isn't cut out for highs in the 20s!:upsidedow

Cold week here... we stayed inside most of the week and then went out today to Barnes and Noble for a Valentine story hour. We listened to stories and then did a craft. Well, I did the craft :lmao: we made a Valentine for Daddy :goodvibes It was fun! Monday we are doing a Gymboree class. I had a coupon for a free class so we will see how it goes. The weather is supposed to be getting a little nicer here. Not into the 70's though! Man, I'm jealous! We are supposed to get into the 40's though which will be nice for us!

It's been cold and snowed in here. Wishing I was at Disney. To make things worse DS got a sinus/ear/eye infection and of course all the Dr's offices were closed due to the weather, so we had to make use of the ER. He's recovering thanks to antibiotics.

We are getting ready for several resale consignment events coming up and I'm trying to figure out what sizes I need to buy for this summer. DS is almost 5 months old, 19 lbs, and just barely fits 6-9 months and is mostly wearing 12 months clothes. Should I get size 18 month or 24 month for summer clothes? It's amazing how quickly they grow.

Sorry your son is sick. Hope he gets better soon!! :goodvibes

Sizes are so crazy. I've noticed that different brands run so differently. Old Navy runs small. Carters runs pretty true to size. Carys is almost a year old now and is wearing 12 months in pretty much everything but 12-18 months or even 18-24 months in Old Navy stuff. Always best to get bigger stuff so they could grow into it. I would probably get 18 month for your DS for summer. That's my opinion. Only a couple months away! :goodvibes

Joanne - The sizes are tough. My son was 18 or 19lbs at 6 months and was wearing mostly 12-18 months (or some 6-12 months if they ran big). That was in February. That summer he still wore mostly 12-18 months, but could do 18-24 months too. He was 10-12 months over that summer, and was about 31" and 21lbs. So his growth really slowed from about 7 months to a year.

Of course, he slowed down even more, and the next summer, when he was 22-24 months, he wore the same stuff from the previous summer, all 18-24 months. I didn't anticipate that, so I had bought all 2T stuff on sale the year before, and then he couldn't wear any of it. Worked out though, as the summer that he turned 3yo he was wearing the 2T stuff, so at least I didn't need to buy anything that year!

And I have to add, your son is way bigger than Scarlett and she's almost 13 months old! She's not quite 17lbs yet and still wears pretty much all 6-9 month stuff, but still fits into a lot of 3-6 month stuff too.

Hey everyone! Hope everyone is doing well! Annabelle had her 9 month appt today and she is now 19.4 lbs and 28 inches long. It was a beautiful 75 degree day, today. I got to enjoy it during my errands. In other news Annabelle is starting to stand up all by herself, we think she will be walking before she is 1. :goodvibes

Hey Everyone Hope you all are doing great! We've been having such wonderful weather here Logan will be one tomorrow!! His party was on saturday and it was a blast!! He LOVED the cake and went at it!

For moms who had a c-section have any of you been having problems with your bladder? TMI I've been having leakage problems and the urge to go right away all the time I have to wear a liner all the time my uro has tried 2 different meds and it hasn't worked so he wants to do some test to see if I'm emptying my bladder completely I was really told much about it. So does anyone also have this problem or know anyone that does? Thank you! I hope I get this fixed because running around after Logan and having this problem having to go all the time. :flower3:

arubio- I had a c-section and no problems here.

We have has such nice weather here the past 2 weeks. It makes me want spring real bad!!! We leave for disney in 4 weeks. YIPEE! :yay: I can't wait to take a stroll around World Showcase.

Time seems to be flying. DS is 5 months old and is rolling both ways finally. He would roll from his back to his tummy, but not tummy to back. Today he did it. He's also almost sitting up on his own. He's getting so big.

Happy Birthday Logan!

We are having some crazy weather. Yesterday it was 73 then this morning and part of the afternoon it was snowing.

72 and sunny here everyday! ;) I do love the AZ winters.

Happy Birthday to Logan! We're in the middle of planning for our DCL Alaska cruise this summer (booking just opened yesterday), so I've been hanging on the cruise boards lately. Craziness as we're booking with 5 linked rooms, and then some other friends (non-linked) as well.

Good to hear that Logan had a great birthday!!! Carys's birthday is this Sunday and it's her party as well! I'm super excited!

I didn't have a c-section, but definitely have problems with my bladder. jumping up and down is out of the question for me! When I first mentioned it to my doctor after I had given birth he said that sometimes it will go back to the way it was, but it certainly hasn't for me. He said that sometimes surgery is the answer but you have to be sure that you're done with having babies or else it will just go back to this way again. So frustrating though. I hate the feeling of "peeing myself" sorry! TMI!!!! I do need to get in to see the urologist though. Just hard to find the time right now and finding someone to watch Carys...

I'm pregnant! Again... :lmao: I just found out tonight, and I am so hoping for a singleton this time. :rotfl2:
