Hulagirl - Congrats on your husband getting a new job! My husband has to work late and overnight sometimes and it never thrilled me in the beginning, but now I don't mind. Actually, I kinda like it cause I can watch what I want on TV or make more low key dinners for me and the kids. 
Today is Scarlett's birthday and so far her big presents have been a cold from my son's class and her first tooth today. Poor baby. She finally got up from her nap now, so we're taking her out for an early dinner and then we'll do her cake. I made her a cake last night and I'm hoping she likes it. I'll try to put some photos up later today or tomorrow.

While I'm nervous about being alone, I think it will be kind of fun to have dinners with just me and Carys and then being able to be able to just curl up with a book in bed and go to sleep.
It was only 12 degrees here today so waiting in the cold for DH to come get us and then he waited for
Now I have to worry about figuring out what's wrong with my tire. I was just at the garage getting an oil change and NYS inspection on Wednesday. My tire light was on and I had asked them about it then. They said everything was fine. hmmmm....

We are doing a Wonder Pets theme and are having it at 11:30 since that seems to be the best time and when Carys is awake for the longest stretch. So we will serve lunch and cake (or maybe cupcakes, still undecided on that). Really excited though! Can't believe it's so soon and she will be one
