Hulagirl - Congrats on your husband getting a new job! My husband has to work late and overnight sometimes and it never thrilled me in the beginning, but now I don't mind. Actually, I kinda like it cause I can watch what I want on TV or make more low key dinners for me and the kids.

Today is Scarlett's birthday and so far her big presents have been a cold from my son's class and her first tooth today. Poor baby. She finally got up from her nap now, so we're taking her out for an early dinner and then we'll do her cake. I made her a cake last night and I'm hoping she likes it. I'll try to put some photos up later today or tomorrow.

Hope Scarlett is better, Justine. Ds13 is recovering from the flu and strep (and we all had the flu shot). Katie woke me up this morning before 4, coughing, sneezing, and fever. She propped up on me and watched cartoons until aroun 7, then finally dozed off. She has been better, but is very clingy!

Thanks While I'm nervous about being alone, I think it will be kind of fun to have dinners with just me and Carys and then being able to be able to just curl up with a book in bed and go to sleep.

We had a crazy day today. We went out to do some errands with my mom this morning and when we came out to my car I had a flat tire! It was only 12 degrees here today so waiting in the cold for DH to come get us and then he waited for AAA to come fix my car, yeah, that was a good time. Threw off our schedule for the day. Good times! Now I have to worry about figuring out what's wrong with my tire. I was just at the garage getting an oil change and NYS inspection on Wednesday. My tire light was on and I had asked them about it then. They said everything was fine. hmmmm....

Happy Birthday Scarlet!!!

Things have been absolutely CRAZY around my house. DH ended up losing his job in November (they had an (unspoken) issue with him having to spend time at his Air Force base, so we are in the midst of dealing with the State with a discrimination suit), so things have been tight, and stressful! Elliott can run with the best of them, and is getting done cutting two more teeth (for a grand total of 8!).

Packer fever is CRAZY around here, too!! Elliott loves watching football. Except when everyone yells at the TV, he growls at us!!!

Let's go Packers!!!

glad for your friend sarah, hopefully 3rd time is a charm!! that is what happened with us and now i have 2 healthy girls.

just wanted to let you know that our newest little girl arrived 6 days early this past saturday, january 15, 2011.

rebecca sue was born at 11:32am. 7lbs, 5.5oz, 20.75".

we are doing well and big sister allison (22mos old) is adjusting well to her "sissy."

Congrats!!!

She'll be in my thoughts. I cannot imagine how they must feel after loosing two. A couple that we know, but aren't close to, at work just found out they lost their baby at their 20 week ultrasound (they were hoping to find out the sex). Baby measured 17 weeks. SO heart breaking. Makes me want to thank God even more each day for my LO!

Lots of pixie dust to your friend!!! And my SIL is pregnant with their second and told him through text message. I thought that was a little weird...

On an up note, DH got a job!!! yay!!! It was a rough few months, but he will start on January 31st! Plus he will be working with 2 of our really good friends He will be working later hours which I'm not too excited about. I'm not a fan of being home alone when it is dark out, now especially with Carys, but I know that it won't be forever, so we will deal with it for the time being. I'm just excited for him and this new opportunity! yay employment!

Elliott is 1 today!!!! I can't believe that my little blob that I held and snuggled a year ago is a walking, talking little man!!! He just giggles every time we tell him happy birthday today. His party is on Saturday. My sister is making his Mickey Mouse Clubhouse birthday cake, and I sure it will turn out awesome!!! She does awesome cakes, just as a hobby. Not sure what we are getting him for a present. Thankfully, I have a few days to think on that!!! My parents are getting him the Little Tikes sports climber, which will get set up in the family room until it gets warm (which will be like June!).

We had a wonderful weekend with the family! We had clear roads the whole way. It was snowing before we left but it wasnt sticking. My cousin's shower was beautiful and we enjoyed a eventful dinner with her. (Annabelle was being a firecracker(What DH likes to say) that night.) Hope everyone is well!

We got Scarlett a tricycle that has a handle on top to push her till she can pedal on her own, but it is still sitting in the box because the painters moved it and I couldn't get to it to give it to her on her birthday. So she got nothing. Luckily she didn't seem to care.

My oldest came home from school today cause she wasn't feeling well, and she just threw up. I am praying and praying that the other 2 don't catch it!

Just sent out Carys's invitations yesterday so now I am officially in party planning mode!! I've been doing stuff here and there but now that the invites are in the mail it's real! We are doing a Wonder Pets theme and are having it at 11:30 since that seems to be the best time and when Carys is awake for the longest stretch. So we will serve lunch and cake (or maybe cupcakes, still undecided on that). Really excited though! Can't believe it's so soon and she will be one

Snow, snow, snow, snow and more snow! We've officially made up for our lack of snow this winter! We've gotten about 20 inches so far and there is still more on its way! There is a drift of about 6 feet outside our driveway.... I think it's going to be a bit before we get the car out! Brynn seems to have a love-hate relationship with the snow. I’ll post pictures later…..Hope everyone is staying warm!
