"Newest" Moms Hangout... take 2!

We did. After spending WAY to much time at BuyBuy Baby debating options we opted for the City Select by Baby Jogger! They didn't have the color I wanted in stock, so they ordered it and it should be here tomorrow along with a few accessories. I'm really looking forward to using it!
The only problem is that I still have strollers on the brain so I am still looking at every stroller that goes by me.... I'm like that with purchases, I look and look, and then after I make a decision I still can't help but look! I've done that after car purchases and even after we bought our house... It's sick really!

I second this! People are willing to pay for cute, original kids clothing, myself included!

Great choice! I'm sure you love it. I have a couple friends from HS (now come to my baby storytime) who both have the same one. They are always walking around by the library.
I did the same thing after I bought the Mac. I still really want the City Mini, but have very little use for it. Good thing for me they never go on sale!

I pushed the City Mini around the store, it's a nice stroller. We picked the City Select because of all the seating options should we decide to have anther chid.

We had Brynn’s three month pictures taken a little over a week ago and the CD and prints we ordered came in today! I am soooooo happy with how they turned out. I hope no one minds, but I’d love to share a few.

The second we started our cat, Tink, decided that she wanted to be the star of the shoot. Our photographer loved it and decided to capture Tink's excitement!

Brynn was a little stoic during the shoot, which was totally my fault. I scheduled the shoot really late in the afternoon which can sometimes be nap time. For Halloween and her 6 month pictures we will do them in the morning. She is defiantly more of a morning girl.

And of course, a hat!

Very, very cute photos! I love that your cat got in on it too. That will be great to see in a year or so when the cat can't wait to get away from the little tail puller!

Such great pictures! She is precious. I love the hat too. I wanted something like that for my DD.
I would definately pay for cute custom clothes.:goodvibes

Right now I am trying to figure out what to have Annabelle be for Halloween. I want it to be a bunting costume and something that she could really only be now. Its driving me nuts. My DH wants her to be a Whoopie Cushion because she has a lot of gas :rotfl: but I am not sure about that. Any ideas???
Tomorrow DD will be 4 months and its also Our 4 year anniversary, so cool how that happened. :lovestruc Annabelle has her 4 month appt friday and I am so nervous I missed the 2 month appt(her daddy took her I had KS) so this is the first time I will see her get shots.:scared1: I really hope I dont cry.

Thanks for all the picture compliments! We were really happy with them too!

It is sooooo funny that you mention Halloween costumes, RooRach, because I am attempting to finish Brynn's costume this week. Our last name is Campbell, so she's going as a Campbell Soup can. I talked my mother-in-law into making the costume for me and I am taking it in for embroidery tomorrow. She also has the standard infant pumpkin costume, but I really wanted to do something different for her first Halloween.

What is everyone else’s little one going as?

I was thinking of making Jazz this for halloween... Seriously?? $50??? SHOOT. I can probably bust one out in half an hour.

Aww that is soo cute intill I saw it was $50!!!!:scared1: I wouldn't pay that much for a costume. Anyone could make it so I would try to make it it's a great idea my mom made a few of mine and we still have them.

Logan's going to be Pooh :-) pooh:

Yeah.. no kidding. I would never pay that much for something like that.. especially for a baby! I just made one for my older daughter in black and pink and it took me about 20 minutes.

Oh wow only 20min then I would def make it myself!! Ya for a baby that's way too much. Logan's was on sale at babies r us for $20.99 so not too bad.

I'm sooo excited and over joyed we move into our new house on friday!!! It's our first house and I'm in love with everything about it!! :cloud9: Tomorrow we're having people come over to clean the carpets upstairs and in the basement and also cleaning people to come over. I can't wait till friday to sleep in our new house!! :yay:

I was thinking of having Lilliana as Tinkerbell and asked DS5 if he wanted to be Peter Pan. He said "NO" but he would be Mickey and she can be Minnie :rotfl:

Hi all. DH and I leave on Wed. for Disneyland (yipee) but I am a bit nervous about leaving Natalie this time. Ever since her 1 day at Mother's Day Out 2 weeks ago she has been SUPER clingy. If I am out of sight she cries Mommy, even if DH has her. I feel so bad for her and I am mad at myself for sending her there. My parents are going to watch her and we will be gone for 4 nights. Any hints to help her thru this? She is almost 15 months and I know this is really common at this age but any tips would help. Thanks :thumbsup2

I hope I am not being presumptuous here, since I am new and don't know you all too well yet, but I think there is a huge difference between a Mother's Day Out and being with two adoring grandparents. She will have two people who love her doing everything in their power to make sure she is not sad.

Also, to make it easier for her, if possible, you might want to make sure she has a chance to get familiar with sleeping at your parents house, if she isn't already. That way, at least she is dealing only with you not being there, instead of you not being there and being in a strange house.

My stroller is here! My stroller is here! :dance3:
My stroller came yesterday and I LOVE it! I had also ordered a parent console which was out of stock, so they sent me a more expensive one free of charge... It has an I-pod dock and speakers for Brynn to listen to music.. Completely unnecessary, but so cool!
Hope everyone is having a happy Friday!

Which cruise were you on? We did the 12 night Baltic on July 6th and I loved it. In 2007, we did the 10 night Med cruise ad a week in DLP when my older kids were 3yo and 11 months. It was great, but the cruise portion was insanely hot and DLP was freezing. So cold we actually had to buy clothes and coats there. And it was late July! Totally unexpected as the Med ports were easily all over 95 degrees.
We were on the 6/12 Baltic cruise. In 2007, we took the 6/6 ten-day. We skipped DLP on that trip.

Wow, we missed you by a couple of cruises each time! We're planning to go back to the Med in 6/2012 (unless we decide to go for the 4th kid...) so maybe we'll see you there!

Lol we're going through the same thing we close on our house tomorrow!! :cool1: And move in on friday, I had my mom come on saturday to help us and we were able to pack up all of Logan's room, the kitchen, and the living room :) And on sunday we just to do our room well DH wasn't into it and wanted to go some where so it left me to do most of it. Hope you get everything done in time and congratulations on your new house!! :flower3:

Well, we are currently in the process of buying our first house! Nervous but excited to be homeowners. I am dreading the whole moving part! Last time we moved into our apartment DH lucked out and had National Guard so my brother in law, me, my mom and sister got to do it. I am making sure this time DH is there to help!

So with all of the costume talk, I had to go back and look.

Lily was...

Tinkerbell

Tigger

lol
This year we may do a family thing. Lily as an Ewok, me as Leia, and DH wants to be a jawa. lol

LOL! We are thinking about the star wars theme here too!! ALex wants to be Darth Vadar.. Even though I think it fits Jasmines personality a little better.. Kaylee can be princess leia, and everyone else could be Jedi.
