DH and I love the Christmas Holidays, it is our favorite time of year. We hear that disney does a wonderful job welcoming in the holiday and are very excited about this upcoming trip, but also a little overwhelmed as this is our first trip and there is so much information out there, that I really don't know where to begin by planning our days. When I literally tripped along these boards hoping some frequent travelers will be able to help us out!!!

Our dates of our travel are: December 14 (arrival time: 11:03 AM) - December 18 (departure time: 9:30 PM). We are staying at the Pop Century Hotel and our renting a car from National - Emerald Aisle.

We have tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (Dec. 16th), We also plan on seeing Candlelight Processional & The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights.

I have also made from Reservations for Chef Mickey (6 PM on 14th), Liberty Tree Tavern (4 PM on the 16th), and Tutto Itallia (9:15 PM on the 18th).

From there I feel so completly overwhelmed between Parades, Rides and Attractions. I don't know how I should go about planning the rest of the days, or should I just wing it. We only have 5 days so we know we won't see it all and that is never our purpose. I just don't know where to go from planning here. HELP please!!!!

Hello and welcome to the Dis Tink :cool1:

Sounds like you have a great christmas vacation planned. I thin kyour best bet to start with is to have a look around the forum, maybe try the attractions section first amd make sure you ask questions as there are lots of people here who will help :)

A few years ago I was able to attend a 2 day seminar at the Buena Vista Palace 2 weeks before Christmas. Although it was a very short trip my wife and I were able to get tix to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. It was one of the most amazing things we have ever seen. Besides the decorations and the parades the 2 coolest things were that they keep most of the rides open, so you can just walk on any ride you want, and they make it snow on main street! Talk about Disney Magic !

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is the thing we are looking forward to the most. Our favorite thing about the holidays is all the decorations and lights, so to hear that it is Disney Magic makes us even more excited. I will also have to keep in mind that they keep the rides open during the Party. Is it all of them or just certain ones??? Can't wait to see it snow in Florida. Thank you!!!

Hello and welcome:)
Hope you have a lovely vacation

Thank you!!! Hope it is just as magical as everyone says it is going to be:)
