Hi Everyone
Just thought that I would take a minute to say hello and also thank you. I have been lurking around this board for a while and even though you didnt even know I was there, you all have been a great encouragement to me in my own weight loss. For that I thank you.
I was one of those people that was always petite throughout my life until I had some personal tragedies. Up until 25 I was never above 110. Then losing 2 children a marriage, my parents and my brother I am now 165. I guess food and alcohol were my comfort.
(Not asking for sympathy just the facts.) The weight really started to get to me when people that I have not seen in a while would not say " Hi nice to see you" but "Wow look how fat you've gotten"
I have not really started any particular plan, but am watching carbs VERY close. Trying to stay under 20gms per day, drinking loads of water, instead of the six pack of Cokes, and walking 2-4 per day.
Reading your posts have inspired me on this journey as I hope that I can inspire others. Thanks for being there.

Glad to have you aboard!! It sounds like you have made a great start with low-carbing and walking. I look forward to seeing you around!
