Hi everyone. I have recently discovered the DIS board and have been reading a few things. I love all things Disney and have been to WDW three times and in the process of planning a fourth trip and realized I had no idea all that WDW had to offer and am excited to learn more. I was wondering though how to personalize my thread like some of you do example when you write each of your visit dates and where you stayed...does that have to be written each time you do a thread or can you save it to your profile and how to I get a avatar. I am not so computer savy but very artistic and want it to look pretty. Thank you for any advice you have in advance.

That's known as a "signature."

If you go up on top, to the light blue line, way over to the left, you'll see 'User CP". Double left click. Once there, you can take care of both the signature and the avatar.

Go down to "edit signature" and start to type-- make sure you "SAVE" once you've typed.

Under "edit avatar", the easiest solution is simply to choose one of the many offered at the Disboards; there are quite a few from which to choose.
