Hello Disney lovers,

I just wanted to say that I love this site. I have been lurking for a few days and recently started to post. My DH is going away for a couple of months on business and has suggested we take a trip to Disney before he leaves so we can celebrate our 10 year anniversary. :surfweb: Since then I have been obsessed with finding out EVERYTHING I can on making this trip fun and as uncomplicated as possible.
Neither one of us has been to the "World" before (though he was to Euro Disney when he was younger) and I am very excited and can't wait.:yay: I haven't booked the tickets yet, but I have my daypack packed and part of my suitcase packed.
Thank you for all your help with all my questions, You all are very helpful!
Julianna

Do you know where you are staying? That can make a difference in giving advice.

In our planning, once we have a place to stay, we then decide which parks we want to see based upon attractions and/or events (parades, particular fireworks, etc.). Once the parks are chosen, we arrange them during our stay based upon crowd level. You can get crowd level estimates from various sources: the Unofficial Guide to WDW, TourGuideMike (our favorite and one of the DIS Theme Parks forum sponsors). Once the parks are laid out by day, we make some decisions on dining. We typically make one reservation for a sit-down meal a day, so we know that we don't have to stress too much about finding a place to have at least one good meal any given day. Everything beyond that is refinements that you'll pick up as you go along, read these boards and/or read other resources (see above).

Welcome to the DIS.:cheer2:
