Background: Travelers include myself 47, DH 44 and DD 12. We arrive mid-day 8/15 and leave early a.m. 8/24. Arrival and departure days are non-park days. We have been to Disney several times, but have never gone to US. DD and I are big HP fans and we're considering going over to US to check it out. DD and I are not thrill riders, but DH is. DD loves BTMRR, TT, and will do MS, but won't even try Space, Splash, EE, TOT, or RRC. She really hates "drops." Since we already have our ADRs and FP+s scheduled we will likely have just one day at US.
Questions:
Is one day enough to at least see the HP attractions?
Is there enough to see/do for non-thrill riders?
Is Forbidden Journey like a roller coaster?
Should we get the express pass or the unlimited express pass? Is this even possible staying on property at Disney? If not possible, how much should we reasonably expect to see/do in one day?
It's very expensive so I want to make sure it's worth it.
