Newbie with questions

Ok I am still really new to all this, but I have been browsing around quite a bit. I have been trying to figure out what "bump" means. Some posters just write one word "bump" and it is driving me crazy trying to find out why. Can anyone help me? One more question while we are at it. What are the tags that the tag fairy gives.

bump just means that the person writting it is bumping the thread up on the boards...

cause when someone new posts to a thread, that thread automatically goes to the top. So if no one posts to it for a long time, it could get buried before people get their anwers that they are looking for.

Thanks for all information and the warm welcomes!! I am feeling more at home everyday. I have learned so much already. I have only been to Disney twice, but we are going again in Nov/Dec. I never even knew there were hidden Mickeys......lol. I can't wait to look for them.

Which brings up the interesting question: Which DISer has the highest post count yet still has no tags? Do they get a special prize for being the most wit-free poster here? Or are they the TF's ex-DH and simply being DISsed? Perhaps at 10,000 posts the TF might give you an Honarary Tag on Humanitarian Grounds to keep from embarassing the wit challenged?

Conversly, what is the lowest post count that someone has gotten tagged? Or how much Pixie Dust does it take to bribe the Tag Fairy?
