Newbie with a ?

Hi! I am obviously new. I have been reading the boards all week, and have the first of many questions (I am sure). I don't know where else to ask.. what does it mean when a poster puts 'bump'?

Bump is basically just a persons way of "bumping" the thread back to the top of list in hopes that it will still get read and replied to. Usually is done when a person has asked a question and hasn't heard a reply back, and thus the thread is starting to get pushed down and out of sight due to newer threads and newer responses.
