Newbie with a question here

Hi everyone, I am so new to all of this. I am planning a family trip to WDW in May 2008. I just discovered this board and am considering the option of renting next year.

My question is this:

The trip I am planning is for 8 adults and 4 children. We would like to get a reservation for 7 nights for 2 - 2 bedroom villas in May of 2008. From what I understand I can't do anything for awhile as far as renting. When would be my best time to go on the rental board to try to find someone who can rent to me? Do you think I am realistic to think I will be able to get 2 - 2 bedroom villas at the same resort for the same week in May of 2008 by renting?
I would probably need to rent from 2 different owners, right?

Those reservations may be made 11 months in advance only by owners at the specific resort you request - other owners may reserve 7 months ahead.

The earliest your dates coule be reserved is in June, 2007. It is possible to find one member with enough points to cover your needs, but multiple members may be necessary too.

I would suggest deciding which resort you are interested in and post on the Rent/Trade Board in May to try to line someone up in advance. You can also respond to offers to rent made by members.

Much of May will have availablitiy even a few months ahead , usually late May will book up faster.
