Newbie! Where do I start?

the biggest is that BCV has SAB, which is unique and cannot be hopped to if you aren't staying at BCV.

but here are some threads which have more reasons:
(edit from dizneed: I don't think I can include the links in the quote....)

um, thanks? Now, what is SAB????
it's not listed in the List of Common Abbreviations topic

(hope you all know the topic 'cause I can't post any portion of the link at all)

(ok, says I need 10 posts to include links and I only have 4, wonder what happens if I shorten the link, this is a little annoying, oh well...)

but i'll look over those other topics you've listed, thanks!

ok, perhaps I've figured it out, is it Storm Along Bay?

If so, is it just the sand that's the big deal? Or is there more? At this point for us, a nice pool is a nice pool. We'd probably prefer the one with few young kids. And what about the possibility of walking over to the Swan/Dolphin beach if you want to sit out on a beach?

edit: ok, thanks chalee, I hadn't seen your post!

And what about the possibility of walking over to the Swan/Dolphin beach if you want to sit out on a beach?

the swan and dolphin are not owned by disney world, so i'd suspect they might frown on non-guests using their facilities like that. just my guess.

DVC members do have some pool hopping privileges onsite at wdw resorts (except at BCV/BC's SAB and AKV), so if you weren't traveling during a blackout period, you would have a large number of other options, including the beaches at the poly and GF.
