Hey all,

I've been a bit of a lurker these last few weeks soaking up all of the wonderful tip and info from everyone here. My wife and I have done California many times and we're AP pass holder for Paris, but this is our first trip to WDW.

We fly out to next Saturday morning and we can't wait! ADR's have been made and all tickets booked. How our little boy is managing to go to sleep at night i don't know.

Thanks again for the great info, I'll be sure to feed back on our holiday and any little tips we find.

Hi and welcome!!!

You are going to LOVE WDW!!

Where are you staying?

we're staying at the pop and using it very much as a home base for the trip. we're looking to cram everything orlando has to offer including visiting friends who live in the area.

we're an energetic bunch but i love to take my time in disney to soak up all of the lovely detail that a lot of people miss as they hurtle around.

thanks for the kind welcome guys.

A good friend of mine stayed there at Christmas a year and a half ago, and she loved it!!

First of all, :wave2:Welcome!

I like to soak up the detail, as well.
I have a little hint for you.
If there are any very late Extra Magic Hours scheduled during your stay, try to be at a park during that last hour or 2. The busses back to POP will run for at least an hour after closing.

I was at WDW when the EMH closing time for MK was 3:00am.
I took a nap from 10:00pm to Midnight, then went back to the MK and stayed till 3:00am! It was absolutely surreal! Not everything is open, but you can explore the hidden pathways or sit on a bench and just take it all in.
The parades and fireworks are over for the day, but many of the main rides remain open with no lines. You almost feel like you are trespassing!

Another wonderful way to soak up the World Showcase in Epcot, is to stay behind after the nighttime show, Illuminations. Once the massive exodus ends, you can walk back around the lagoon (just slightly over a mile) and there will be almost no other people there. The torches will be flickering, the music playing and it's just beautiful.

Have a Magical Trip! pixiedust:
