:wave2: I havent ventured into this section before ! so hello!

We have been to DLRP a number of times

and are now currently planning our 2 wk trip to WDW, in march / april 2010 ! :cool1:

My cousin is getting married in clearwater,so will spend 2 days there, with the other 12 days in /around Disney :goodvibes

argh its so overwhelming! i dont know where to start lol

we are going to book a 5 bed villa, along with my sister and her family and our mum and dad :)
and i am hoping to use tesco clubcard deals to book flights, with virgin or cosmos, and my BIL is going to drive

so thats accom and travel sorted!

but what about tickets?! i have no idea how much we will fit into the 12 days ?! :confused3
what tickets to buy ,and where from ?!

we will be 6 adults and 4 children (then aged 13,7,6 and 3) if this helps!

what would you suggest is doable from your experiences? :)

any help / advice would be great

xx

Hi and welcome :)

I would spend 12 days like this :

Magic kingdom - 2 days

Epcot - 2 days

DHS & AK - 1 day each

Water park - 1 day

Universal studios & IOA- 3 days

Shopping - 1 day

with an extra day for re-visiting anything !

When u put it like that Natalie that seems loads of time and lots that u fit in
=)

Thanks so much :)

so what kind of tickets would i need ? ( i must admit ive not even looked at the different types yet ,but my sister mentioned a "flexi " ticket or something?)

where is best to get them from ?

xx

Hey there, Rachie and thanks for joining us on UK Trip Planning. :goodvibes

There is so much to do in Central Florida that it simply isn't possible to do everything justice in 12 days. The main attractions in the Orlando area are the four Walt Disney World parks, the two Universal Parks and Sea World. On top of that, WDW has two water parks and two entertainment districts (Downtown Disney and the BoardWalk) and Universal boasts the CityWalk entertainment complex. Add to that a myriad of dining opportunities at the parks, the onsite hotels (at both Disney and Universal) and the surrounding area, plus some fabulous shopping venues and you'll pretty much have your 12 days packed to the gills. For a first trip of this duration, I'd be inclined to skip the attractions further afield (such as Busch Gardens and Kennedy Space Station).

Disney offers tickets which are unique to the UK market. All ticket media (including the Orlando Flex Ticket which groups together various non-Disney attractions such as Universal and Sea World) are described in detail on the Attraction Tickets Direct website. ATD is a reputable and reliable source for tickets and they offer price-matching, so they're competitive too. I'm sure others will be along soon to make other suggestions.

Alternatively, you can buy tickets directly from Disney (or various outlets) in the US. The options are described here. If it looks complicated it's because it is! ;) Buying direct from Universal is more straight-forward and they frequently have some pretty good offers. You can also buy some unique-to-the-UK options as well as the Orlando Flex Ticket directly from them.
