Sounds like you already started! LOL!! It only takes one.
Collect what you like. There is a database of all the pins us collectors know about, called pinpics. This way you can see what pins you might try to find.
This forum is a great place to ask your questions. Plus look at the top of the page for an FAQ.

dizpins.com

anything I can do to help you start feel free to ask.....

one piece of advice - try and stick to pins you like, it is easy to get spread out when collecting pins, we are about to do our second sort through of our collections and decide what we actually want to collect =

me ; tigger, mini pins and roger rabbit

DH: stitch, sorcerer mickey & villians (he has "retired" from collecting tink - but kept the pins he had so far)

Kris n stitch (our furry traders - people have asked to trade with them, but not us in the parks :confused3 )

kris : - brother bear

stitch : - kim possible & (he hasnt made his mind up yet - there are only 7 KP pins)

I echo what Raksha2 has said - start a collection (or collections) and stick to them. Pin trading and collecting can get out of control easily..

I collect Figment, Eeyore and Lanyard Series 3 pins
DW collects Chip and Dale and Flower and Garden
DS collects Stitch
DD collects Pooh and Piglet

http://www.odpt.com is a good place to start also.

I just trade if I see something I like. :teeth: If you ever go on the cruise, pick up a few of those pins because when I was in Epcot the other day, we were talking to some guy about pins and as soon as he heard I has cruise pins he was like 'wanna trade?' He said a lot of people don't get on the cruise, so if you have the cruise ones people will trade for them.
