Newbie to DVC Questions

Hello folks

I have been reading the DVC boards for a bit & we are discussing DVC as we have gone to WDW atleast 10 times over the last 20 years. Usually staying at Caribbean Beach & with school issues we are going during March break.

We are a family of 4 me, DW, DD 14 & DD 8. We are looking at travelling every 2 years. We are lookinig at AKV as our home resort & a 1 bedroom value or standard.

I am going to WDW for marathon weekend & would like to talk to a rep about DVC. I have a list of questions I want to ask, but was wondering if there was some questions you DVC vets suggest?

We are also looking at resale as an option, so does anyone have any suggested questions for that, or are they pretty much the same. The best resale price I saw was $78 a point for 160 points.

the main value to the tour is seeing the models in person, IMO. other than that and specific financing-related questions, most of your questions are better answered here on the DIS. here are some general threads you might find interesting:

buying resale is a better deal if you are interesting in SSR/treehouses or one of the 2042 expiration resorts. for AKV, there will be less of a price difference.
