Newbie to DL

Hi all!

We're considering a family trip to DL over Christmas time but are totally clueless about the bestsafest places to stay, what the parks are like, how crowded will it be, best ways to get around, etc.

Hoping you can fill me in on what I will need to know to plan a fabulous trip!

Can't help you with where to stay since we are locals.

The parks can get very crowded in Dec.-the closer you get to the holidays the more crowded. But DLR is magical at Christmas. The fireworks, snow on main street, the special lighting on the castle, etc. Of course that's why the locals go in droves in Dec./Early Jan.


Get to the parks before opening. Grab all the FP you can in the a.m. to use later in the day. Have one person in your group cross over to DCA and get FP there as well.
