Newbie Ticket Question

My family and I are thinking of including one day at US/IOA during our Fall '13 trip. I would purchase a one-day ticket with the Express Pass. Is there any benefit to buying on-line? I am concerned about locking in a date (aren't tickets date-specific?) and then being rained out. Currently, we are thinking of just buying tickets at US on the day we go there....but are absolutely open to your advice. Thanks in advance.

Only the express ticket is date specific. Buy your one day ticket ahead of time. Buy your express after you are there and see that you need it.

My advice would be wait until you're there, as the express passes purchases are non-refundable. The weather isn't "as" volatile during the fall, but there is still that ever existent "chance-of-thunderstorms" when you're in Florida!

And remember, you don't need to buy the express pass at the gates. You can go in the park for several hours and then buy the pass at one of the many stores within the parks.

It can be...remember Atlantic hurricane season doesn't end until November 30th...anything can happen until then. Generally speaking though, tropical systems have a hard time staying together because the ocean water temps have cooled so by mid-October, the threat is really gone.
