NEWBIE - Stroller Rental Question!

I am taking my 5 year old to Disney for her 1st visit in August. I read about renting strollers in the parks, but has anyone used any of the companies that deliver strollers to the resort?? I have been reading about Magic Strollers (magicstrollers.com) and think that it would be better to have the stoller outside of the park too, and it works out to be about $58 for my entire stay - any thoughts?? Thanks!

I think its generally cheaper to rent a stroller outside the park - especially if you expect to need one everyday. And, when we went last summer, our DS needed the stroller the most when we were leaving the parks to get to our car (when he was dead tired, and so were we). But, we were renting strollers in the parks so we had to carry him or walk super slow. So I say rent outside the parks. The only downside I see to that is you then have to deal with the stroller on the buses (if you're using Disney transportation).

Also, an outside stroller rental would be a more comfortable stroller. Most parks have the hard plastic strollers that do not have any cushioning (DHS and DTD have different ones).

You can also consider just bringing one from home. You can gate check it if you are flying and it would probably save you a huge chunk of cash! Heck, if you got a second hand one from craigslist you could probably sell it when you got home for around what you paid!

We rented with Orlando Stroller rental. The stroller was very clean and comfortable for the kids. The stroller was at the hotel on our arrival and we just dropped it off when we boarded Magical Express. It was great.

i have rented from magic strollers in march and it was wonderful. super clean they delivered it right to the hotel and i just left it at the hotel at 2:00pm when we had to check out. easy to push, good storage, and tall enough for me and my husband. had a thing you can pull over the child if it rained. and it was cheaper that orlando stroller rental. hope this helps.
