newbie reservation question

Hi all...
Well I haven't even closed on SSR and I'm already thinking about an add on! LOL..these boards are a bad influence. My question is this: if I have 200 points at SSR and buy 100 points at VWL, then I want to make a reservation at VWL and I need 300 points....do I still only have the 7 month window b/c the bulk of my points are at SSR? Or, do you get the 11 month window anywhere you own, even if it's only 50 pts? Thanks for the help!

You would need to book at the VWL at the 7 month window. You only get the 11 month priority at the home resort that you have points at.

But with banking and borrowing, you could have your 300 points at VWL with the 11 month booking window.
For example, bank 100 2003 VWL points into 2004 and borrow 100 2005 VWL points into 2004, and use 100 2004 VWL points for a 300 point 2004 VWL reservation.
