Hi Everyone

I am new to this board, some of you may recognize the name from other boards here. I am planning a trip to US/IOA in june of 2004 for myself my 13 yr old and 11yr old for her 12th birthday and staying at the HRH.
Any suggestions on must see's and should do's I would LOVE to hear.
One question I have is, Is a rental car really a nesessity to see everything or is all within bus or walking distance?

since you are staying onsite, I do not think a car is needed. So much is conveniant. I know at the RPH they have a small shop in the lobby with some items like toothbrushes, Q-Tips, etc, etc, in case you need something and forgot them. I'm sure the HRH would have something like that too.

As for much do's...are both girls? Or just the younger one? (hehe here we go again!! :p) Either way, take them to see the Ghostbusters Show (yup...but you are surprised...).

I think they'll love IOA more than US (I'm the opposite though. It's more of "been there, done that" with IOA, but still go sometimes).

The Horror Makeup Show is funny, but it's rated PG-13 for good reason. Many parents take younger kids in. The "scary images" are a bit much for some of them, but really, the rating is from some of the jokes...and I'm sure that at your kids age, good chance not all of them will fly over their heads. Maybe a few will. You'll have to decide that on your own. Just wanted to warn you. Your kids should like Jimmy Neutron and Shrek quite a bit. Good chance they'll like MIB.

They like scary stuff, huh? Well, they'd probably like the Horror Makeup Show, (it isn't exactly "scary" but more comedy). Though do keep in mind of the sexual jokes.

I say try Jurassic Park ride, and if they ride rollercoaster make sure to do those. They may get a kick out of the queue line for Dueling Dragons which is spooky in a dungeon-like way. Very cool.

Ghostbusters Show isn't scary, but they might like it...lol...are they boy crazy yet?? Took me this long to be (well, not really...but I think I'm worse now than I was at their age). lol. :p
